The Plüg Outlet Ventura Setup Guide

Hi Steven — everything is built and looking great. This page shows exactly what you need to create, what to send over, and what to decide so I can connect everything, launch the website, and hand it fully over to you.

The good news: you will own every account yourself, most of them have a free plan, and the safest setup is to invite me as a team member instead of sharing passwords.

4 Accounts to create
5 Business details to send
3 Images / brand items needed
1 Analytics choice to make

1. Create these accounts

Please create these using your business email: theplugoutletventura@gmail.com. After each one is set up, invite me as a team member so I can finish the technical setup for you.

1

Supabase

What it does: This is your database and login system. It stores business data like leads, appointments, reviews, and site content.

Cost: Free plan is enough Use your business Gmail
  1. Go to supabase.com.
  2. Sign up using your business Gmail.
  3. Create a new project. You can name it something simple like the-plug-outlet.
  4. After the account is ready, go to the team area and invite me.

2

Resend

What it does: This sends booking confirmations to customers and new lead alerts to you.

Cost: Free plan About 3,000 emails/month
  1. Go to resend.com/signup.
  2. Create your account with your business Gmail.
  3. Once inside, go to Team Settings and invite me.
  4. Later, I will connect your domain so it can send from your business properly.
3

Cloudflare

What it does: This puts your website online, helps it load fast, and protects it from spam and attacks.

Cost: Free No monthly hosting bill needed
  1. Go to Cloudflare sign up.
  2. Create your account using your business Gmail.
  3. After the account is created, go to the Members area and invite me.
  4. I will help with the rest of the setup once you are in.
4

Domain name

What it does: This is your website address, such as theplugoutletventura.com.

Typical cost: $12–$20/year Only needed once
  1. If you already bought a domain, tell me where it is registered.
  2. If it supports team access, add me there. If not, that one login can be shared temporarily and changed later.
  3. If you have not bought one yet, tell me the exact domain name you want first so I can confirm it.
Good to know: GitHub is already handled on my side, so you do not need to create anything there.

2. Best way to give access

The preferred setup is simple: you stay the owner, and I get access only through invites. That keeps your main passwords private and makes cleanup easy once the project is done.

Best option

Invite me as a team member or admin on each service using the email I give you.

Backup option

If a domain provider does not support invites, you can share that one login temporarily and change the password after launch.

Important

Do not share your main Gmail password. Everything should connect through team invites whenever possible.

Simple rule: You create it, you own it, you invite me, and when we are done you can remove me with one click.

3. Send these business details

The site is currently using placeholder information in a few places. Send the real details below and I will swap everything in for you.

Business phone number
The phone number customers should call or text.
Full address
Include street, suite or unit number if there is one, city, state, and ZIP code.
Business hours
Current placeholder hours are Monday to Friday 10am–6pm, Saturday 10am–5pm, Sunday closed. Confirm or correct them.
Social media links
Send any links you have for Instagram, Facebook, Google Business Profile, and Yelp.
Point-of-sale system
Tell me whether you plan to use Square, Clover, or another register/POS system. If you do not have one yet, that is okay and we can add it later.

4. Photos and brand files

These will make the site feel real, personal, and polished instead of generic. Even good phone photos are perfectly fine.

Photos of you and Manny

Please send two clear photos, one of each of you, or one strong photo of both of you together. These will go in the “Two Brothers” section of the website.

Logo file

Best option: a vector logo file such as .svg, .ai, or .eps. If you only have a PNG or JPG, send the highest-quality version you have.

Store photos

Optional but very helpful: photos of the store, warehouse, appliances, showroom, or anything else real from the business.

Easy way to send them

You can send them however is easiest for you — email, shared folder, or direct message — as long as the files stay full quality.

5. One decision to make

I need one quick answer about website traffic reports so I can wire up the right tracking option.

Analytics choice

I can set up Google Analytics, which is free, so your weekly Clarity Report shows real visitor numbers. There is also a privacy-friendly paid option that costs about $9/month if you prefer not to use Google.

Option 1: Google Analytics — free Option 2: Privacy-friendly alternative — about $9/month
You can simply reply with one of these:
